An apartment in central Stockholm is extended with a new loft. By cutting a large hole through the attic floor a spacious double ceiling height with three new skylights is created in the living room. The tight space required a stair with a very steep angle of 45 degrees. The stair is designed as a playful architectural object with additional larger steps for books and other items on the side, and a small storage inside.
